As Historians, we will learn all about the Tudors this term. We will study the war of the Roses, learn about Henry VIII and his 6 wives. We will learn about key events in the Tudor time period. We will be going on an exciting trip to Hardwick Hall in the last week of term on Wednesday 20th May. A letter with more details will be sent out shortly.

As scientists, we will learn about Sound:

 Our lessons will include:

• How are sounds made?

• How do sounds reach our ears?

• How can we change the volume of a sound?

• How does the volume of a sound change as we move away from the source?

• How can we change the pitch of a sound?

• What affects the pitch of a plucked note?

This fits in well with our work on Boomwhackers as Musicians this term.

In Computing we will learn about using Logo and Animation.

In French we will continue learning how to discuss the weather and temperature.

In PSHE we are thinking about 'Being my best.'

As artists we will learn about the work of Sonia Delaunay.
