This term in English, we’re going on an exciting adventure deep into the rainforest! We’ll imagine what it would be like to be Lost in the Rainforest, surrounded by towering trees, strange sounds, and amazing animals.

We’re going to become expert researchers and writers as we learn how to create our own non-chronological reports. That means we’ll be finding out lots of interesting facts about rainforest animals like sloths, poison dart frogs, and jaguars and writing all about them in a clear and organised way.

We’ll be using subheadings, fun facts, technical words, and even diagrams to make our reports exciting and informative. By the end of the unit, we’ll have created our very own rainforest fact files to share with others!
