Foundation subjects
Our topic this term is The Ancient Greeks. We will learn who the Anceint Greeks were and where their empire was. We will find out about democracy and Alexander the Great. We will have a Greek day later in the term - further information to follow.
In Science, we will learn about Forces. We will answer the following questions:
- What is the friction between surfaces?
- How does the number of pulleys affect the force needed to lift a load?
- How does the length of a lever affect the force needed to lift a load?
- How do gears work?
- What is gravity?
- What is water resistance?
