Autumn Term One
Science
In Science this term Year One we will be learning about the five senses and the parts of the body associated with each sense. We will name other parts of the body and label those parts on a body.
We will take some time to discuss the four seasons and discuss the season we are currently in (Autumn). We will look at the features in nature we expect to see at this time.
In Year Two we are looking at local habitats. We will study what animals need from a habitat in order to survive, and we will be using our school grounds to explore and find various animals in their natural habitat. One of our final lessons will involve a visitor from the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust who is going to provide us with a pond dipping experience on the school grounds
