Autumn Term 2

This term in English, Year One will continue to read, write and spell common exception words and begin to use them in sentences. We will spend this term building these key skills through a range of games, practical activities and writing tasks.

Throughout the year in English there will be daily opportunities to practise letter formation, handwriting and spelling. This in turn will help support the children when developing their understanding and development of simple sentences and basic punctuation.
